Question by Cole: question on military service, want best possible way to do this?
I have decided i really want to join the air force. been looking at other branches, but flying (what i want to do) just calls to me.
what i really want to do is fly the F-35 Lightning II JSF. the thing is amazing.
if i want to fly, i know the air force wants college graduates, and they prefer a degree in a more science/math/engineering field. i was considering majoring in aeronautical engineering anyways. what options are open to help me join the AF in a way that will help me be a pilot? i think they offer AF ROTC.
and i do have a slight vision problem. i have less then 20/20 vision in each eye, but much better than the 20/50 i heard they specified (i can real about half of the 20/20 vision line without corrective lenses). but each eye is a slightly different prescription, so without lenses, i have less than perfect, but still REALLY good depth perception (i don’t notice a difference really). will just

ok someone please help me make sense out of this because my mom and i got into an argument over it and i just want to see if anyone knows the real answer. ok, my younger sister also has braces, and she has a slight lazy eye. i told my mom why dnt you just get her some glasses or corrective surgery, and she replied “well the braces willprobably help to correct her eye asthe teeth shift because every part of the face is connected…” or something like that, is that even possible?! does that make sense? doesnt sound like it to me but i could be wrong

I’ve had braces and they do “straighten you eyes”

That is one of the dumbest things I’ve heard….ever… (no offense, but it is)
